  Hosts are very helpful by pointing us to the nearby attractions and dinning places. The building itself is a masterpiece. The hosts were telling us about it's history, which is quite a story. Breakfast was amazing!!! The only drawback is the gravel road. If you have a nice car, you may want to drive slower than normally would have been. Also, it is 20 km away from Golden. Other than that, I would not hesitate to refer this place to all of my friends.

  Beautiful location in the forest. Great room with fridge and microwave. Lovely hosts. Relaxing hot tub overlooking the mountains. Get the breakfast -- it's worth it!

  So far I have stayed in Il Nido twice in the winter.In the Jay and Hawk suites.Both the accommodation and the food were excellent.For groups staying in the winter the hosts will provide a supper meal at an extra cost . The food is to die for.Something that you would expect at a European 4 or 5 star inn.This goes for breakfast as well as supper .

  We were given a weekend getaway as a Christmas gift by our children. This B&B was our first time using such services. We would have to say that the was probably be the best weekend a couple can have. The place is unbelievably gorgeous and is hosted by two of the finest people you can ever hope to meet. The meals are exquisite and food is abundant. No going hungry here. And the hospitality makes you feel at home. We are looking forward to a return trip in near future. If your looking for a top of the line place, can do no better.
